Breeding method: Propagation by seeds, which can be sown directly or transplanted after seedling cultivation. For large-scale production, direct seeding is often used, with a seed germination rate of about 70%. The temperature should be around 20°C with sufficient humidity, and seedlings can emerge within 7 days after sowing. If the temperature is below 20°C, it may take more than 10 days for seedlings to emerge.
1. Direct seeding: Sow before the ground freezes in winter or in spring. Spring sowing is done from late March to early April. Before sowing, the soil should be thoroughly watered, and after the water has drained, sow in rows with a spacing of 17-20 cm. The furrow should be 1.8 cm deep, and seeds should be evenly scattered, covered with 0.7 to 1 cm of soil. About 22.5 kg of seeds are used per hectare, and the soil should be kept moist. Seedlings will emerge in about 10 to 12 days.
2. Seedling transplanting: Choose a sunny bed for seedling transplanting, sowing in March to April, either in rows or by broadcasting. For row sowing, the row spacing should be 10 cm, with shallow furrows made to evenly scatter the seeds, which should be covered tightly with soil. Lightly press down, and water with a spray bottle, or first water the sunny bed before sowing. After evenly distributing the seeds, cover the bed with a layer of fine soil using a bamboo sieve, and cover the sowing bed with plastic film or a layer of straw to help retain heat and moisture, which can accelerate seed germination. When the seedlings reach a height of 7 cm, they can be dug up with soil clumps and transplanted into the field with a row spacing of 17-20 cm and a plant spacing of 7-10 cm. Water immediately after transplanting, and when the transplanted seedlings produce new shoots and the leaves begin to expand, gently loosen the soil once. Proper moisture retention and seedling care are key to high yields.

To take good care of flowers, watering them is crucial. However, many novice flower growers tend to be overly diligent, taking care of their plants even more frequently than they eat, and they feel that watering the plants a few times a day is still not enough. This can easily lead to root rot and death of the plants, which is indeed quite frustrating. In that case, why not grow a few water-loving flowers? The more you water them, the better they grow, making them perfect for those who love to water their plants frequently.
